The Lusitano is a breed from Portugal. It is considered the oldest riding horse in the world. They are very characteristic their muscular hindquarters and strong limbs, generating a very special way, called "swum step" or "spanish step". They are known to be brave, docile and agile horses. That's why they were used for the wars.
