Haflingers are always chestnut with blonde mane, a dark palomino. Height ranges from 13.2 hands to 15 hands.

Origin[]

These golden horses originated in the Tyrolean Mountains in Austria and Northern Italy. They are from a village called Hafling. The original stallion was a part Arabian, part native Tyrolean horse named Folie.

Haflinger breeders like to see head markings, but leg markings are not as wanted.
