Flea bitten is a coat color. It is when there are brown or black specks of hair on an otherwise white or gray coat. The coat color is called this because of the resemblance of a white or gray coated horse that had been flea bitten. Many find the name of the color odd and/or shocking. The breed that has this color coat more than other breeds is the Arabian.
